I voted yes, because I am about to very soon. I just have to call the airlines and make sure the buyer has set up everything properly. The only thing i see wrong with it is the spendy part of green cash. I have heard that its stress full, but in my mind its no worse than weaning babies at 4 or 5 weeks and taking them to shows. (this does happen in my area!) I used to have a problem with it a few years back, then again a lot of my perspectives have changed. I'd like to hear everyone elses opinon about this.

I have not done it so far and its not to I would never do it cuz I might,But I like to see what Im getting.I have drove 3 hours or more to buy a bun I have seen the picture to and it looked wonderful only to see it in person was very dissapointing.I would hate to have the expense of shipping it and then being not happy.I wait for conventions and big shows to come reasonably close to get stock from areas far away.

I recently bought a rabbit from out of state. His picture wasn't all that great to look at, but I needed the short ears and the dense fur, so I bought him. After a long time trying to find transport from MI to CA... I finally decided to just have him shipped to me. I set everything up (which was easy) and advised the shipper of the cage specs/needs for the airlines to accept.

Everything went awesome, without a hitch. He did not appear to be stressed in any way, just alert/observant of the fork lift driving in the shipping warehouse. I was very happy to see that he looked alot better in person than the picture portrayed. He is also a very sweet, loving bun that I'm glad I now have. I'm looking forward to seeing babies from him in Late August/Early Sept.

So,
Yes... I would ship rabbits to thier new home that was too far to drive.
Yes... I have had rabbits shipped to me and was very pleased.
